I usually use mineral spirets from Home Depot, but the price almost doubled, paint thinner is about $5, but smells stronger.Smells better than diesel though. After over 20 years as a locomotive mechanic, I can't stand the smell of diesel fuel on my hands, and it leaves an oiley film on stuff that you wash.
