Happens to me too in "07 chevy. I also grab the metal door frame while I"m sliding out to avoid the shock. But, by the time I get to a door knob or store doore it gets me again! People look at me like I"m crazy when I slap at door handles to discharge. Luckily, it"s only in the winter when humidity is very low here in Florida.
