There is (or at least was) an 8N website out there that showed a Pippen backhoe. I have one mounted on my 1955 Ferguson TO35 and it works great. This old backhoe has very large, low prssure hydraulic rams, so its slow by nature.
Pippen backhoes were made by the Pippen Constuction Equipment Co. of White River Junction, VT during the mid to late 50's. They are long since out of business. I've done some searching to find out more info but have come up empty.
I suggest you keep a look out on ebay.com. I see a backhoe unit on there from time to time.
