I plant sweetcorn with a 2 row. One suggestion is to plant two different kinds of corn --- one kind in each box. Get corn with different maturity dates so once corn starts to get ready it is not all ready at the same time. I plant 4 different plantings about 10 to 15 days apart ---depends on weather, etc. Also, if you plant two varities they will pollinate at different times so more likely to miss bad storm, hot weather, etc with at least one of them.
Also, if planting two kinds make sure they are compatable as to pollination. For example, some of new supersweets should not be pollinated by older single cross corns.
