You're right about the interchange of the heads from one to the other block but we can't do that. Where I live we have to have our emmissions systems checked in order to get a sticker to licence the vehicles with. If you put an older model head on the newer engine the vehicle does'nt have any emmissions system on it and we can't licence the pickup.
