My Super Dexta is mechanically excellent. Needs paint, but runs perfect. Use her yesterday and today to over-spread fescue seed, which called for 5th gear or #2 High range @ 2000 with hopper set on #6 gate. Thats fast. After a good steering lube, she steers one handed with the turner ball. In just a couple hours finished 40 acres pasture over-seeding. Over the weekend tilled the garden with a double disk harrow. During the winter, rebuilt the wiring, installed key-start switch, wired regulator and lights, dash charge light, new thermostat, built radiator shroud for new radiator, replaced six weak worn studs on L/R and serviced fluids. Gave her a Red Top Optima battery. New proofmeter also. This just one of my tractors, rangine 13-60 HP, but for some reason, its my favorite. Must be because its the biggest oddball of the bunch.
Weather is turning warm, and getting a little tractor seat time is pure pleasure. Wayne _________________
