When the Fords first came out we were still recovering from the depression and in the east and the eastern side of the mid west farms were still small with 8&10 acre fields a lot of farmers had plow tractors but most of the cultivating was done by horse power The ford could out plow almost any tractor in a small field and could do any thing you wanted so far as cultivation most farms went from three or four horses to one old retiree
