It makes sense to me. The terrorists are clever enough to disguise hazardous materials in apparentlt factory sealed bottles. Water bottle could contain nitro glycerine and other bottles could contain dangerous materials that resemble original contents. The dispensing machines contain only products known to be safe to take on your flight. Knowlegable travelers are aware of what is and is not allowed, so will not carry these items. It is bad that the world situation has come to what it is now and we are all paying the penalties to assure flying safety... Gene
