Rebuilt a few of these over that past few years. Went back with the original type sleeves, They lasted 20 to 30 years before so why question them. to get the old sleeves out, take a stick welder and run a few beads up and down the inside of the sleeve. they will drive out so much easier then. going back I put the new sleeves in the freezer for a few hours , then take a heater of some sort and warm the block as hot as you can get it, they have all went together pretty easy so far.
