hey ernie, thats about the smartest thing i have heard in awhile. i had to laugh outloud and tell a similiar story that happened all the time to me. i used to work in a hardware store. three years worth and we sold this drain cleaning product "liquid fire" it was called. the stuff worked great but was very dangerous. had skull and crossbones on it all sorts of warnings and such. well, folks would read the label as they held it in their hands and ask "will this stuff hurt my plastic drain lines?" i would smile and say "if it would hurt the plastic drain lines then i don't think the manufacturer would be selling it in that plastic bottle your holdin" they'd smile, and realize it then take it to the counter looking silly. i laughed about that everytime it happened. and that was alot.
