snapper Lt 11

I have a older snapper Lt 11 with a single blade, my problem is that th e belt broke I purchased a new one from the local snapper dealer, but I am having a hard time replacing the belt on the tractor. Could any body tell me how the belt fits over each pulley every way I try the belt seems to be very loose, How tight should the belt be. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
