Not sure about the dog food, but i was with the wife at the grocery store yesterday and there was an older couple asking the meat guy if they had any many meat for sale that was a day or two past the expiration date. The same couple was also buying day old discounted bread.
After the couple left i asked the meat guy if this was becoming a common thing and he said every day they have at least 5 people asking the samething.
He also said they have to start locking the dumpster out back during the winter months because of people going through it at night picking out meat and other stuff.
