I have to agree with Fred that if you can find another hub at a reasonable price, then that's the way to go. You don't say what kind of tractor you have, but you might want to post a message asking if anyone knows of one in a junkyard. On the other hand, rebuilding your old hub should be a fairly routine repair for any machine shop that fixes a lot of old, obscure and obsolete machinery, which is to say any machine shop that serves farmers. The biggest hub rebuild that I recall was the rear wheel hubs on a LeTourneau "C" Tournapull scraper that my Dad owned years ago. The wheel bearings had spun inside the hub until they were loose. The wheel was about three feet in diameter, so we had to cut the hubs out of the wheels to turn them on the lathe, then weld the whole mess back together.
