My 1950 M also carries the AM839T...and needs repair/replacement...JD's current part #AT148428 to replace the complete assembly was quoted at $246.53...I've been given a price of $60.00 on a new aftermarket complete fan assembly...does anyone have any thoughts on the aftermarket unit? My feeling was to replace the entire unit instead of trying to replace individual parts...especially if it could be done for $60.00...has anyone had any experience with an aftermarket fan assembly? Also -- any suggestions as to where I can locate a parts book for this tractor? Thanks, BillK
