OR...Would you have the 12 gage auto loader ready for the first guy that busted the door in, knowing that you will be killed in 10 seconds if you started blasting. A mans home is his castle, if fact the "castle docrtine" was passed by many states which says in basic form that a mans home is his domain and if a crook breaks in to do harm then you can shoot him.
