Case model 444 yard tractor/mower - GOOD TRACTOR? Need your help !!!

Looking at a used Case model 444 that has a mower and a snowblower attatchment. Looks in pretty good shape, the owner says he's selling it because it has a rear discharge and it is hard to pick up the clippings so he bought a side discharge machine that he can windrow easier. Just a few questions:

- is the 444 a good reliable machine?
- are parts still readily available and reasonable?
- what kind of an engine does it have?
- anything a guy should look closely at if he was considering purchasing one?
- how much would you expect to pay for one (with the blower)? Need either a US or Canadian dollar amout.
