I don't know the exact weight but my guess is that they would end up in the 100 pound range, perhaps a tad more. I don't think they would cause any steering problems. It is expensive to do but if your working around thorns it is in my opinion the only way to go. A few years back I was working around locust trees a lot and could not keep air in the front tires, foam filled and problem solved. The tires will no longer be able to be removed from the rims so start with good tires, preferably new, and they will last for several years.
