Some places have already switched. When it was extended some stations were given a exemption and could switch now because their analog stuff was in bad shape.They hadn't repaired or maintained it because they was going digital, so they was able to go ahead and go digital. You need to check with your local stations to be for sure. I would assume if you can get stations without the converter that they haven't switched.
