Three inches of new snow here after rain all day yesterday. Now is when we get the really sharp, short storms that are plus dangerous. Dad figured that they were winter's last shots at the time of the equinox. He got lost in a snowstorm while seeding barley May 8, 1977. Only lasted 20 minutes but he had no idea where he was in the field.
