Congratulations! Good brand, good model, good opportunity to have a LOT of fun while doing the necessary work!

As emphasised in the other posts, maintenance is the key to keeping it going, and information is the key to knowing how to maintain it. A good manual and this site will both help.

The key to continued enjoyment is SAFETY. Since you indicate that this is your first tractor, you're going to be on a learning curve for a while. Make sure the brakes work well, always hitch only to the drawbar, and don't allow riders.

Post questions when they come up, (especially on the Farmall board) as someone always seems to have the answer if you ask!
