I'm going to get most of my herbicides through a friend this year, but I forget where he said they were coming from. It's from a dealer who did not book them back when the prices went through the roof so I will be paying half to a third what the local co-op wants per acre. I've bought from the local co-op for the past 35 years and they've always been fair, but they booked the fertilizer and chemicals at the very high time so they are passing it on for a high price. Last fall they hooked my for $110 per acre for P&K and I can't let it happen again. One of my rented pieces is penciling out in the red on the spread sheet for this year so I have to look out for myself.Jim
