I think it was just bad timing or luck. I've had all animals for approx 1 year. Bull, 1 cow, and 4 other cows came from different farms. All were vaccinated when they came and I have no barn. One cow aborted in January and that is the one I didn't give a lepto shot so I'm unsure what happened to her, she did recieve a shot after the fact. This cow just up adn got sick. It just bothers me a little because she was so close to calving, but I know you cannot win em all. Cows can have a mishap and die calving also. I guess I'm just learning by doing, I know I'm not the only one with all this trouble.
