My 7610 Ford was doing that, hole in a piston under the top compression ring and the bottom end was toast. To make things more interesting, that late a tractor is supposed to have 9/16ths head bolts but this one has half inch and low and behold their was form a gasket under the front main cover and oil pan. Me thinks that someone changed engines before I got the tractor... Any chance yours is like that? Mine shows 3200 hours but I've never seen an engine worn like this one was.
