I have a KingKutter 6'footer. It's heavy, has pneumatic wheels, and grease fittings on all the moving parts. It comes with a lousy factory paint job, but is really well built. I paid 899 for it on sale at Central Tractor... Check it at WWW.KINGKUTTER.COM As for the Ford idea, yes I too had that fear when I bought mine. I owned a John Deere, and a Allis Chalmers first, and owned Chevy vehicles my whole life. So buying something with a Ford logo on it was strange. Luckily I thank my stars that I have that little jewel. It is so much better of a tractor than anything built around that time. I will say that eventually I'd like to find another tractor to restore just for fooling around with...maybe when my son get's big enough to help me restore it. Good luck with whatever you buy.
