Anyone who watched my video last week knows about the B's clutch issues.
It engages and releses just fine, but it makes a very loud and very unplesent noise. It went away and then i greased it for good measure, but its back and worse then ever. So its the noise in this video thats impossible to ignore.
I vividly remember someone replyed to one of my questions last summer "And before you put that back together, replace the pilot bearing and check out your clutch bearing"
And i ignored it
And i now have to split the tractor again.
Aw well, should make an interesting video. Ive got B splitting down to a science and i hope i can do this in a weekend.
So two things
1)if theres anyone here young and dumb like me, NEVER ignore those little BTW comments at the bottom of expierenced peoples posts
2)what do i need to replace?? Clutch or piolt bearing?? Im thinking i should do both of them since its gonna be split anyway, and i dont know how long the piolt is going to last
Oh yea and i need to fix a leaking oil pan.
Here goes another pile of money, but i know the tractor is going to be worth every penny in the end. Thats accually whats keeping me going on it now......
