Lance the magneto is not as forgiving to adjust as a distributor. someone may chime in and tell you of the spark impulse thing to correctly adjust timing.
I would also check the oil for a gasoline smell. If the cylinders get washed down could fire into oil pan and blow all the gaskets. { I had a car do that. You are gettin it close Good luck !
