Unless the drum is bad, why not just throw some new discs and sealing rings in it and it should be good for another 40 years. There isn't a reason in the world to think that anything in a scrap yard will be any better than yours... Likewise on the wheels. A&I make them reasonably well and fairly cheap if you can't stomach NH's pricing.
