Look for the serial number stamped on the LEFT side of the engine bell housing flange, and 10:00 o'clock from the driver's seat. Take the first 2 numbers and subtract 4 to determine the year. My guess with the date stamped on the wheels is that it is a 1949 model, so the serial number may start with 53XXXXX... Gene
