A friend of mine has a cut off 55 gallon drum of sand that he runs the auger in to park the digger and they just unhooks the drive shaft and 3pt. He dumps some used motor oil into the sand and the auger stays bright and shiny. His is kept in a shed. Hope this helps. - -
