Didn't all this originate from the infamous Velsicol chemical company in St.Louis Michigan? They put the fire retardent in the cattle feed bags and contaminated all the cows. Then they buried them all in a dump up north and it leached into the ground water and made more of a mess. That St.Louis site is nothing but a great big huge clay cap with a big fence around the place right next to the river. They ruined that whole town. The home values were never worth a squat there after that. Now they're not good anywhere anyway but that town was devastated from that. I had a friend that worked there and he told me they used to sit and eat their lunch on the bags of fire retardent. They all had to have extensive medical tests for years after that. He had a huge amount of hatred for the management of that place.
