I have been looking through craigslist and see several properties listed. I avoid the Realtors and their sappy descriptions.....they"re a bunch of parasites in my estimation...akin to ambulance chasing lawyers.
Gents, there are places of beauty to be seen/had in all the 50 States...it"s just knowing what area to look into. I have lived in KY my entire 51 years and have yet to see it all. But, Woodford County is simply beautiful. No way that I could afford to buy land there, but it is a gorgeous area. Lots of Fat Cats live there on their "Estates."
The taxes, as a rule, are pretty low for those of us living out in the Counties and away from the damnable towns. When I think of the unmitigated gall of city governments that burden the residents with hundreds of dollars of taxes PER MONTH, I don"t see how public insurrection is avoided.
