Well, hydraulic motors are used a lot more on modern equipment, but are usually mounted directly on what ever they are going to drive. I don't see why you couldn't apply the power from a motor to a drive shaft to run a piece of machinery. What I would be concerned about though, is that the tractor has enough flow and pressure, but does it have the ability to cool the oil if it's being used constantly through the motor?
