I do not know about collectors values. I only know what a gun is worth to me as a hunting and farm gun. I am fond of the 30-30, but would only own a Marlin when it comes to the lever guns. I have never figured out what people see in those Winchesters. The parts seem to be ill fitting and flop and clank together.
Dont want to hurt anyones feelings, but I wouldn't trade 1 Marlin for 4 or 5 Winchesters.
