Seriously, one of the best pieces of advice I've ever gotten was from the Publisher of a newspaper when he made me General Manager. He said, "The best advice I can give you is, work like he11 when there's work to do, and if a football game or something comes along just say 'he11 with it' and walk out the door".
My days with the newspaper are long gone, but that advice has worked equally well in other situations over the years.
