The company I work for is a international company. I work with a mix of people from all over the world. I'm from Iowa but I & the wife went up here on vacation in 1999 & have been coming back every summer since. We got the kids in collage so last year we tried a winter & fell in love with it. We live in a very remote town of 400 people. 2 hour drive to the next town & then 1hr 50 min to the next one so yes we are remote. We got away for the week end & on our drive we saw moose, caribou, fox, linx, coyote, wolves, elk. Those are just some of the wild life that comes to mind.
