I am looking at an international 300 utility tractor. 1953 with good rear tires, metal nice and solid, and in generally real nice shape for its age. with several implements it seems like a real good price. What should I look for mechanically? What should the compression be for the cylinders? What will it cost to convert to 12 volts? Can this tractor pull a wagon through the woods with a ton of firewood on it? I am not real knowledgable about old tractors, so any input would be appreciated. I have not purchased it yet. I will wait to hear your comments.- - - Thank You
