I have had a Poulan Pro for 10 years and the Hydrostat locked up last weekend. I guess I will purchase a new mower now. I was considering a craftsman, Scotts, and Huskee as I can't afford a Deere. I noticed Scotts is made by Deere and has Koler and B&S Intek engines however the top speed is 5.6 mph where most Deere has a top speed of 7. A 20hp mower that can move at 7mph can cut a lot in a much shorter time. Should I try a used Deere?
