My parents electric service line came down in a storm and was laying across the road. THe township closed the road till the electric company could come out and put it back up. A school bus drove down the closed road, stopped, then DROVE ON/OVER the down line. A few minutes later she got a knock at the door. A girl wanted my mom to lift the powerline up so she could drive her car underneath...This is a backroad that has many alternate routes. A detour would have added 1.5 miles to a persons drive...
