Here in Upstate, NY the prices are still up; I sit here looking at the photo ads wishing I could head to Canada or the mid west and grab some of the "deals" I see. The thing that gets me is when some seller feels the need to tell you how "rare" his tractor is. C'mon most of us know pretty much what is rare, what is uncommon, and what you trip over everyday...I saw a guy on here recently who had a "VERY RARE" Ford 2N. It was a 2N, not even a Sherman, or a 6 cyl. conversion to make it "desirable" let alone "VERY RARE"...he wanted a "VERY RARE" price also. I think what happens is guys keep throwing $ into restorations and don't realize that no matter how nice you make 'em, they still aren't worth any more than their not as nice brothers and sisters. We have several tractors we have too much money in, but we did it knowing that we'd never get it back...except maybe the JD 70 or the Allis D10.
