Last summer I loaded up my old 79 Dodge 3/4 ton with steel for the scrap dealer. There's a flatbed on it and I threw a couple of 2X12's on the sides to keep stuff from falling off. Well I loaded her up and headed for the scrap man, but she felt really squishy. When I went across the scale I found out she weighed just a twitch over 9000 lb. It does have the heavy rear axle (5200?) but!!!!! Jim
