Why not! why use it? Engines have been around this many years, have used conventional oil and lived out there service life. For example I have 2 small block chevys, one 172,000 miles the other 174,000 miles, never been rebuilt never seen synthetic oil. 4600 ford tractor 6100hours never been rebuilt no synthic oil. Yes synthetic oil well go many more miles in between oil changes or so they say, but conventional oil has done its job all these years.
