I"m still looking at 3/4 ton trucks. I found this one the other day. 1996 model, Ext cab, 4wd, 5 spd, XLT, 7.3, with either 179,000 or 197,000...been told two different things. $4900 firm. I"ve just saw the outside of the trucks after hours...not drove it or anything. It does have some rust above the rear drivers side wheel well. Already has traler hitch, both bumper and gooseneck. What should I be looking for on this truck?? Anything in particular wear out? And is it possible to buy a 13 year old truck with close to 200,000 miles on it and still get lots of use out of it?? I know those motors are suppose to be great, but what about the rest of the truck??? Thanks again.
