If you can itemize your deductions you most likely can get money back.Im no expert but once I took my taxes to an accountant it cut them way down,half of what even H and R Block could do.From owing 18000 down to 9000.If you drive a lot for work,are gone overnight for work,have to buy a lot of stuff for work,take lots of medicine,you should look at doing a long form.The payroll people dont have to deduct to where you get a refund,they only have to deduct as much as it takes to keep the government off of them.Less taxes for them to come up with.Most places will take a little more so it doesnt cause you to have to pay,but they dont have to.
