You need to get someone to check the codes on the ABS system for you. If the speedometer works, it is not a speed sensor problem, since it takes its speed signal from the same sensor that drives the speedo. You will probably discover it needs either a valve block or a controller. There are lots of used parts available for those trucks. If you don't want to go to the expense, unplug the black box mounted at the master cylinder, and you will have normal brakes, just no ABS. By the way, it's a rear wheel only system on that truck.
