You'll likely need to modify the mounts for both the rear axle and front bolster, but I'd think it could be done with some cutting, fitting and welding. The question I have is WHY? You have an industrial front under the 3400. If you have a 4600 SU, then you have an abortion of an axle under the front of that which will give you no end of trouble, especially with an industrial loader on top of it. It seems like a lot fo work for not much (if any) gain in my mind if both tractors are functional...
