I was reading about wind power. Seems, you have to have some kind of conventional power plant running, constantly, when you are getting your electricty from wind. Because the wind can stop blowing, or not blow enough, you can have big problems with the grid. The conventional electric plant has to run constantly. You don't just turn a key and start up a power plant. So the bottom line is this, While we are being "Green" and getting our electicity from wind, we HAVE to have some kind of "dirty" coal, or gas plant steadily running and spewing all that nasty polution into the air. I say coal or gas plant, because as you know nuclear is just out of the question. People freak out about nuclear energy. Wind power might be an alternative for a single house, but not for the whole grid. Also, the same environuts crying for wind, are now whining about all the birds killed by the turbines whirling blades in Cal. All of it is a bunch of crap. I so tired of hearing that the end is near, and we must act now, on everything from the SCAM known as global warming to the Porkulas bill they want to jam down our throats. The drama is over the top. AlGore is a fraud, that clown won't have a debate on this farce, because he know's he will come out looking like a fool. I think more people are waking up to what a scam this is, hopefully, alot of the nonsense coming our way can be derailed. Jack

If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution. And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
