One thing to avoid getting ripped off would be to see if the seller has any references or feedback from previous buyers. This site has a feedback forum. It would be really beneficial to get feedback/references from the shipper as well. Make sure you have a written agreement of the terms of the transaction. I dont like sending work their way but it might be worth it to talk to a legal professional. Unless the tractor is rare or has something very special about it, you would probably be better off buying one that you can inspect in person.
