I would do as ltf in nc said in his post. Next I would take the MCV (Multiple Contral Valve)off and check the pump out ,more than likly it is bad.
Some tractors are worse than others about priming . We have an 1066 that will prime at any temp. and a 1456 that will not prime below 30 degrees .
