A few days ago there was a post on the Tool Talk about a tool to suck a string through conduit. I recall a similar thing told to me by a young divorcee I dated a few years ago. She had a new electric water heater installed in her basement. The electrician had the conduit in but not the wires. The electrician asked the girl for one of her feminine sanitary items and she was so embarrased she was ready to ask him to leave or call the supplier of the heater to report his conduct. With a red face she gave him the item he had requested and the electrician tied a Piece of line to the string and placed the tampon in the conduit. He then took an air tank and a blow nozzle and blew the string through the metal conduit. He then tied the line to the wires and was able to pull them through the conduit. I told her that a marshmallow would have worked as well.
