Jack...Dude, we're already in the hole. It's just how you want to get out of it.
As I see it, we have two options: No money, people starving, riots in the streets, selling pencils from a tin cup on the corner. (I know what you're thinking: Not me! I'm not one of "those" people, I made good chioces; I'm secure. That's great, until the homeless come and kill you for your stuff.) Eventually, after most of the destitute have died off, the strong that remain will rebuild the economy.
Or we can face reality, that we've over spent and over borrowed (again, probably not you personally), and now we have to figure out a plan to "pay the piper", as it were. Could include taxes. Could include a "bailout". Could include work programs. But it won't be easy, that's for sure.
By the way, I don't blame Big Oil for making a profit. Big Oil employs a lot of people, and that's important (no, I don't work for Big Oil).
If you don't think either of my scenarios are valid, what do YOU think we should do???

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
